Bryan Batson bought his first investment property in October 2007. It was a single family rental home in Mesquite, which was purchased right before the Great Recession. He has been a full-time real estate professional ever since.
Early on he worked as a mentor in single family investing while working alongside larger multifamily investors. He spent his days either locating and purchasing single family rentals for his company or analyzing and advising on other investment properties for his clients.
By 2011 he had bought his first 8 unit apartment complex in the Bishop Arts area of Dallas. He managed the entire transaction and turnover of the property. Later he went on to buy properties throughout the state of Texas and also out of state. He has been apart of 100s of transactions in the real estate world including single family rentals, multifamily apartments up to 88 units, storage portfolios, commercial leasing and others.
Bryan also spent 6 years in the investment finance world. He originated hard money loans for investors in single family and commercial real estate. He would analyze property values both before and after renovation, evaluate scopes of work, and would oversee projects until refinance.
Bryan has years of experience as an investor, entrepreneur and commercial operator. He understands both sides of a transaction and has worked in every aspect of the field from acquisitions, financing, renovation, project management and tenant management. He takes the approach of the owner/tenant in his transactions. He has a unique understanding of what owners and operators are looking for.
When not doing business for his clients or himself, he’s hanging out with his beautiful wife and daughter. His hobbies are traveling and martial arts. He holds a blackbelt in Krav Maga and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
